Our staff teams will be the essential ingredient to making it possible for the people who we support. The rewards will be enormous when you see the difference you can make with your work every day.
It takes a special sort of person to work in this environment, someone who enjoys working as part of a team, has energy and determination to achieve results, who can see things from another person’s point of view, can solve problems and form lasting relationships built on trust. It can be tough, but we need people who can bounce back each day and improve their skills and performance to achieve better results each time.
ECHO Scotland can offer its employees a wide range of rewarding opportunities. We will always pay above the Scottish Living Wage. We are totally committed to training and developing our staff with a wide range of training and externally recognised vocational and academic training qualifications offered to all. We are equally committed to developing our employees to progress within the Company, learn new skills and take on new challenges. Staff wellbeing is a key priority for us, and we strive to ensure our staff teams remain happy, motivated and fulfilled at work.
All staff who support people will be trained in Positive Behaviour Support, and our Team Leaders will be trained as Positive Behaviour Support Practice Leaders.
We are committed to employing a workforce that is as diverse and unique as the people we support. For many roles previous experience is not required, training will be provided, and we value the work ethic, personality and attitude of mind you bring to your working life.
We are a small independent provider of supporting living services for people who meet the following criteria:
We are currently developing sites in Central Scotland with out first services due to open in Tranent, East Lothian by the Summer of 2025.
We will employ staff who are dedicated to enabling the people supported to recognise and develop the skills they need to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible. We support people to make their own choices and decisions in homely, friendly and safe environments.
Working closely with the Health & Social Care Partnerships, ECHO Scotland is committed to building partnerships focused on continuous service improvements that meet the needs of each person and which are in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.
As an organisation, we know what’s important and we listen to the people who we support, their families and our staff teams and a personalised approach is central to the way we will operate. Only by understanding every person’s choice can we begin to effectively support people to achieve their goals; we are committed to developing and providing services which ensure the person supported is at the very centre of everything that we do.
We will soon be recruiting Team leaders and Community Support Workers.
